Global NRG supplies energy storage to solar and wind farms with a suitably sized storage to supply backup to the wind or solar farm generation and we use this to trade energy.

A backup battery or HES storage protects the wind or solar farm continuity of power supply in the event of there being no wind or sunshine.

Global NRG also stores excess electricity through its Hydraulic Energy Storage technology (HES). The club uses these technologies to buy  cheap off-peak electricity and then feeds it back into the grid at peak rates at a profit from the arbitrage which supports the Energy Credits generated from the allocations.
