IMPORTANT WARRANTY NOTICE

This Is A Limited Warranty Only And Will Not Apply To You When:

1. The manufacturer/supplier has not paid The Atlas Club Inc to provide such warranty: or

2. Where a dispute has arisen between the manufacturer or supplier and the end user/computer owner, and the manufacturer
or supplier is unwilling to supply The Atlas Club Inc and/or its approve repairers with parts to enable it to give this warranty

3. Where the manufacturer/supplier is unable to supply specific proprietary replacement components/parts: and

4. No warranty is made or given for the software in respect of the use of the computer in any respect.

If At Any Time The Atlas Club Inc Informs you That This Warranty Does Not Apply To You, You should contact the Manufacturer or Supplier.

 

WARRANTY COVER AND CONDITIONS

Your Warranty Certificate Number is located on the top of this Warranty Certificate issued to you and must be quoted at all times.

The Cover provided applies to computers serviced by Atlas CompuGard and extends the conditions of the Manufacturer’s 1 year warranty for a period of a further 2 years after the expiration of the Manufacturer’s warranty, as registered and paid to The Atlas Club Inc. The cover is as per Atlas CompuGard Warranty Terms & Conditions and applies only to Electrical, Mechanical and Electronic breakdown, which causes sudden and unforeseen damage to the machine. The cover includes the cost of all parts and labour to restore the machine in its
second and third years after purchase to serviceability, but excludes consumables, user error and wear and tear.

The cover provided is conditional upon receipt of payment of the warranty premium and cover will not be provided unless and until the full amount of the warranty payment is remitted to The Atlas Club Inc. For warranty purposes, hardware and software are considered separately. No warranty is made in relation to software or data. In particular, no warranty is made in relation to virus-related problems, software compatibility issues, software bugs and faults. Rectification of these faults will be chargeable.

Equipment Covered: PC Architecture ONLY - this warranty does not cover software or peripheral devices such as but not limited to Monitors, printers, scanners, external modems and excludes damage of any extraneous nature.

Operating Environment: The computer should be operating in a relatively clean dust free environment to ensure optimum performance, as dust and grime can contribute to breakdowns that may not be covered under this warranty.

Geographical Coverage: within the States and Territories of Mainland Australia and New Zealand.

Hours of Business/Warranty Response: Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm. On telephoning, faxing The Response Centre during business hours, an assessment Co-ordinator will assist with your problem and if required will arrange for an authorised Repair depot to receive your PC architecture, usually within 10 working hours from initial call. It is your responsibility to deliver the hardware to the nearest receiving depot.

Country Areas: In some country areas the required level of expertise to diagnose and repair computers may not be available. In these areas The Atlas Club Response Centre will arrange and pay for the computer to be transported from a depot to the nearest Approved Service Contractor for repairs. The computer will be returned to you with the minimal possible delay .

Software: Please note that the warranty cover extends to HARDWARE ONLY. We do not cover problems associated with the installation and or operation of software. No warranty is made in relation to software or data. In particular, no warranty is made in relation to virus related problems. Software compatibility issues, software bugs and faults, rectification of these faults will he chargeable to you . The Atlas Club Inc strongly recommends that you regularly "backup" your system to ensure up to date copies of programs/data are readily available. The Atlas Club Inc and its authorised repairers cannot be held responsible for the loss of any data that may be experienced due to faulty components or repairs to any computer. The Atlas Club Inc and its underwriter cannot be held responsible for any product fault or defective components that can be attributed to Corrupt or unlicensed Software or viruses of any nature.

Unauthorised Persons: No unauthorised person should endeavour to repair or modify the computer system. For all modifications or upgrades please contact your system supplier to ensure that your warranty, remains intact. All requests for Warranty assistance are to be directed to The Atlas Club Response Centre, failure to do so will void your warranty.

Non Warranty Works: Should The Atlas Club Inc be called upon under the warranty and the fault found to be not hardware fault related, you will be invoiced for the cost associated with such works.
